The Alliance’s Education Policy Committee hosted a roundtable session with area K-12 superintendents and post-secondary providers on Friday, April 7 to discuss countywide education priorities.
Discussion among the group focused on a series of proposed initiatives: creating a countywide education advisory group, supporting engagement with area businesses as schools implement Academic and Career Planning (ACP), developing a faculty in the workplace program to give educators an opportunity to spend time learning in the workplace and continuing to promote the Inspire SE WI tool that connects students and businesses. The Alliance will work to achieve these initiatives, along with area employers and our schools. If you’re interested in learning more, please contact Robyn Ludtke.
