In partnership with Waukesha County and the Waukesha County Center for Growth, the Waukesha County Awards recognize top-performing businesses and nonprofits who have a significant presence in Waukesha County and are making our community a great place to work, play and live.
2024 award nominations have closed. Any nominations submitted after April 30th, 2024 will be considered for our 2025 awards and celebrated at our 107th Annual Meeting.
Business of the Year
Judging Criteria:
- A commitment to good business practices
- Customer-focused commitment
- Community service involvement
- A history of good employee relations/benefits
- Financial growth and consistency
- Education partnerships and workforce development
Eligibility Requirements: businesses that have been named a past winner are ineligible for three years.
- Minimum of three years in business
- Significant presence in southeast Wisconsin
Nonprofit of the Year
Judging Criteria:
- Promotes health, safety and quality of life
- Fulfills the mission of the organization
- Financial sustainability
- Engages in collaborations and partnerships
Eligibility Requirements: nonprofits that have been named a past winner are ineligible for three years.
- Minimum of three years in business
- Registered nonprofit
- Serves Waukesha County
