Alliance Hosts Second Annual ‘Experience the Trades’ Expo

With manufacturing and construction being driver industries in Waukesha County, the Alliance was proud to ignite students’ passion for the trades at its second annual ‘Experience the Trades’ expo. Experience the Trades provided nearly 1,200 middle and high school students the opportunity to interact with roughly 30 local manufacturing and construction employers. Students experienced activities such as creating and pouring molds, using virtual reality to design a landscape project, surveying with a robotic station, using a 3D printer, and more. This year’s expo was a remarkable showcase of the collaboration that can happen when businesses and educational institutions come together.
