Membership Associate
Under the supervision of the Vice President of Membership, the Waukesha County Business Alliance is seeking a highly organized, personable, and detail-oriented Membership Associate to join our dynamic team. The Membership Associate will play a crucial role in engaging with the Alliance membership. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual who is dedicated, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- General member engagement – phone calls, email correspondence, in person meetings
- General database clean up and up-keep
- Assist with overseeing online inquiries and general prospective members
- Assist with 1st year member engagement
- Assist with annual sponsorship process
- Assist with annual member verification process
- Assist with preparation for events and programs, and attend events and programs as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to support special projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and database software.
- Must be organized, flexible, able to handle multiple priorities and work independently.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and provide own transportation.
The Membership Associate position is a full-time, salaried position and reports to the Vice President of Membership. Availability required for occasional early morning and/or evening Alliance events or programs.
