Milwaukee Business Journal – As tariffs drive up prices, Waukesha drops steel pipes for Lake Michigan water project

Dan Duchniak, who in about a year will bid contracts to buy 35 to 40 miles of pipe for Waukesha’s new Lake Michigan water supply, is seeing steel pipe suppliers hike their prices by more than 25 percent in response to federal tariffs.
