Workforce Development

Workforce Development

Workforce remains the number one issue facing Waukesha County, our region, and our state. The Alliance provides a robust strategy to help employers develop, attract, and retain talent. We continue to build programming and implement tactics that support these three key areas. Our goal is to be a resource for our members, connecting them to the tools and information they need to succeed in the fight for talent.

Develop

We develop our future workforce through solid partnerships with educational institutions and the business community to help prepare the students of today for the jobs of the future.

Attract

Talent attraction remains a high priority for the region. Discussions on placemaking, culture, housing, transportation, policy and more play an integral part in attracting employees to Waukesha County. The Alliance is committed to building an attractive and inclusive culture in our community. We support public policies that make Waukesha County more accessible to diverse talent, such as support for expanded housing options, innovative transportation solutions, more accessible childcare, and more.

Retain

We are committed to working with employers to retain and skill up their employees through professional development programming, shared regional workforce initiatives, and partnerships with education institutions.

The Talent Solutions Council drives workforce development solutions and shares best practices to develop, attract and retain talent. This includes developing our future workforce through business education partnerships, attracting talent to the region and retaining talent through training and development.
